Harmoni is on the run from an organization that wants to lock her away. She and her friends escaped from their captors five years ago and have become successful thieves. With two wolf shifters, a demon and whatever kind of creature Harm is, few can ward their valuables from the foursome with the talents they possess.
Their latest heist leads them to a mysterious, gorgeous man who is being held against his will. Harmoni knows they have to free him from the moment she sees him. For her entire nineteen years, she thought she was the only one of her kind. Now there’s another and he might have the answers she needs.
With the addition of Ares to their team, their world is about to be turned on its head. Harm and her crew will soon be on the run again, but this time they’ll have to rely on the help of the one creature she’s hoping to avoid. Omen’s help always comes at a cost and she’s no longer sure she wants to pay the price the vampire is asking.
Working for a vampire hadn’t been in Harmoni’s plans, but so far it was turning out to be better than she’d expected. She and her friends were gaining more skills and experience doing what they loved best. Ares was bonus eye candy for Harm, along with fitting in well with her crew. The handsome warrior has also proven he has talents he shouldn’t possess, given his harrowing past.
Omen made a deal with his young employees and so far, he wasn’t living up to his end of their bargain. They needed him to find the creature who’d altered Ares, but it wasn’t going to be easy to force him to cooperate. Now that he knows they have combat skills, she’s worried he’ll try to turn them into his personal assassins.
Harmoni and Ares have a close connection, being the only two of their kind in the entire world. Their bond will be strengthened when they discover a magical artifact. While it will bring them closer together, it could also endanger Harm. They will need to weigh their desire for each other against the threat it could pose to Harmoni.
Harmoni and her team are in a race to find the creature who can fix Ares. This isn't a mission they can blast through while snagging loot along the way. They'll have to find someone who knows who he is and where he is first. Omen made a deal with them that he would help them locate the syrictae. They all know he's not assisting them out of the kindness of his undead heart. If he reneges on their bargain, Harm and her friends will walk.
The magical realm Harm and Ares keep being drawn to still remains a mystery. They can't control when they end up there, but they know it must have some answers that they're seeking. Harmoni's visions show them pieces of the past, but not what became of their ancient kin.
Aion Corp hunters are relentless in their pursuit of the runaways. Their plans hinge on getting Ares back beneath their control. His time is running out and it's vital that they recapture him soon. The rest of the team is expendable, except for Harmoni. They would very much like to get their hands on her as well. She's the key to figuring out exactly what their lost specimen can do.
Harmoni and her team are faced with a different kind of mission when they return to Augury from their latest job. One of the wolves who guards Omen’s property is in trouble. Rescuing the shifter will have repercussions that none of them could have expected. It will change the dynamic of the group entirely.
Thanks to her unexpected influx of power, Harm will have to relearn how to use all of her talents again. They’ll need every edge they can get during their war against Aion Corp and the Octet who run the company. Their enemies are now aware that Harmoni is far more powerful than they’d realized. They’re even more determined to bring her and Ares beneath their control.
Omen has to choose someone to search for the syrictae now that they have an idea of where he’s lurking. Ares is his hated rival, so the last thing he wants to do is aid him. Harmoni will take her team and leave if he does nothing, so he has no choice but to ask for help from someone he’d rather avoid at all costs.
Harmoni’s pack is getting larger as she draws new additions into her team. Omen is less than happy about accommodating another vampire. He knows he can’t kick her out without upsetting the balance. Like it or not, he’s hooked on Harmoni’s blood now. He needs her more than she needs him.
Florence Portello is called on to offer her services to another Aion Corp employee. Her curiosity is too much to resist and the meeting will set a chain of events into motion. Everything will soon change for the witch and her allies both new and old.
Ares is lucky their newest pack member has specialized skills. She might be able to keep him alive for longer than Omen had guessed. Slowing down the iron poisoning might give him more time that he desperately needs.
Omen has vanished from Augury and no one knows where he’s gone. Harmoni and her team will have to perform a rescue mission for the vampire. His mind was already unstable, thanks to his addiction to Harm’s blood. Things change dramatically for the worse during his absence. The balance of power is about to shift, which won’t go down well with their boss at all.
Tate Franklin and the remaining rogue squads are still on the run. They’ve been chipping away at the Aion Corp bases as they’d been ordered. Tate knows their days are numbered. Harmoni’s hold over him is slowly slipping. He can only pray that he’ll survive the nightmare she’d put him through and that he can escape from the net that’s closing around him.
Harmoni struck a bargain with Enoch that they would both perform a task to build their alliance. She needs to find property that was stolen from him. Enoch has a different idea in mind. The cruelty she and her friends suffered at Aion Corps’ hands is the inspiration behind his plan. Nothing can cement a friendship faster than shared hatred of their mutual enemies. With luck, the intriguing fire demon called Phoebe will be impressed with his mission if he succeeds.
With the war between Chaos and Order rapidly approaching, Harmoni and her crew are still seeking allies. They’ll need all the help they can get to battle Aion Corp. Florence’s visions help steer them towards the beings who will aid them in their cause. Convincing them to join forces might not be that easy.
The syrictae who set all this into motion is being hunted by Harmoni’s team, Hades and Phanes. Jaradel has gone into hiding, but almost anyone can be found with magic and enough resources at their disposal.
Tate Franklin had a close brush with death, but he isn’t out of the game yet. The hunter has lost everything and now he doesn’t have anything left to live for. The only thing keeping him going is the thought of getting revenge on the beautiful monster who ruined his life.
Stealing magical items can sometimes come with a risk. Harmoni and her team need to get rid of the cursed mirror they looted during a mission. Doing so won’t be easy. Enoch will have to lend his aid, which will make Phoebe a very happy fire demon.
Ignoring Harmoni’s warning, Omen peeks into the magic mirror and instantly regrets it. Seeing a bleak future ahead, he dreads the coming events, but he knows there’s nothing he can do to change it. Even he agrees the relic is too dangerous for them to keep.
Ares’ health is deteriorating faster now. Brooke is doing her best to keep him alive. The vampire is a talented doctor, but not even her surgical skills can stop the inevitable. They all know their war with Chaos will begin soon. Their destiny is rushing towards them all. It’s moving them to their appointed positions on a gigantic cosmic chessboard.
With only six weeks left before the war between Chaos and Order will begin, Harmoni can’t let despair rule her. She knows it’s inevitable that Ares will be recaptured by Aion Corp. Nothing can change their fates, but it doesn’t make it any easier to bear.
Everything is finally coming together for both sides of the conflict. Yuri Isakov and his squad are closing in on the enchanted heart. The force that’s been slowing them down will redouble its efforts to prevent them from obtaining the relic. With the threat of retirement hovering over them if they fail, Yuri won’t allow anything to stop him from doing his duty.
Ares dreads the battle that’s rapidly approaching. He’d rather die than harm his queen, but he has no control over what’s coming. Becoming Harmoni’s enemy will crush him, but it’s his fate. He can only hope that she’ll be able to destroy him before he can kill her first.
The war has finally arrived and Harmoni and her friends, allies and enemies have been flung far and wide across the storm ravaged realm. Just as they’d planned, Harm and her closest friends embark on their quests. They all have the same goal that will hopefully result in Order winning over Chaos.
All four towers will need to be restored. Each one is guarded by a magical storm. Ice, lightning, wind and fire bar the crystal palace, sea castle, stone citadel and ebony fortress. Alliances and unusual bonds will need to be formed in order for them to surmount their obstacles.
Harm has been shown visions of what she and her friends need to do. She didn’t realize she would be all alone. That doesn’t last for long, but her companion is the last person she expected to be lumped with. Unfortunately, she isn’t sure if she’ll survive long enough to fulfil her destiny. Her illness is spreading far faster than she’d anticipated and she doesn’t have a cure for it.
